About the Role
Lirion Power is seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to lead the operational delivery of our wind energy assets across the southern region of Ireland. This role is pivotal in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations while maintaining strong relationships with contractors, communities, and stakeholders.
You’ll be responsible for delivering Production-Based Availability (PBA) targets and ensuring the integrity of mid-life assets as we prepare for repowering and life extension strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead field operations across multiple wind farm sites
Ensure full compliance with HSEQ standards and regulatory frameworks
Manage High Voltage (HV) operations and oversee QA/QC inspections
Coordinate contractors and service providers to ensure timely and quality execution
Engage with landowners and local communities as required
Respond to operational issues with agility and problem-solving mindset
Support the COO in maintaining the operational risk and opportunity register
Contribute to the development of internal systems for asset tracking and reporting
What We’re Looking For
5+ years in wind farm or renewable energy operations, ideally with multi-site experience
Strong technical understanding of HV systems, grid compliance, and safety protocols
Proven ability to manage contractors and field teams effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder and community engagement
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment with travel
Experience with asset inspections, compliance audits, and operational reporting
Strong technical competence with IT systems such as Excel, Word, SCADA systems (multiple), PowerPoint
