About Lirion Power

Lirion Power is an Irish renewable power owner, operator and developer, backed by HitecVision and Reinova Partners. Our platform now stands at around 200 MW of operating onshore wind across Ireland, including farms in Donegal, Waterford, Kerry, Limerick and Meath, and we plan to keep growing.

We get more out of renewable assets that already exist. Our strategy rests on three levers:

  • Life extension: keeping mid-life wind farms running safely and efficiently for longer.

  • Repowering: replacing older turbines with modern, higher-output machines on established sites.

  • Hybridisation: adding battery storage and solar PV alongside our wind farms, using the grid connections already in place.

We are a hands-on owner-operator. We work closely with the landowners who host our sites and the communities around them, and we see those relationships as central to everything we do.

The role

As Land Manager, you will own the land rights behind every Lirion Power site. That means looking after the leases and agreements on our operating wind farms. It also means securing the new and amended rights we need to extend, repower and hybridise them.

You will be the main point of contact for our landowners. You will work alongside our asset management, development, grid and legal teams, and your work will directly shape which projects go ahead and when.

This is a chance to join a growing platform early and build its land function. You will set the standards and processes the business relies on as it grows.

What you will do

Operating portfolio

  • Manage the land agreements across our operating wind farms, including leases, licences, easements and wayleaves. Keep an accurate register of terms, rent reviews, break dates and obligations.

  • Act as the trusted day-to-day contact for landowners and their agents. Resolve issues quickly, from access and reinstatement to rent queries.

  • Run due diligence on land titles and agreements for new acquisitions and integrate acquired sites into our land register smoothly.

Life extension, repowering and hybridisation

  • Negotiate lease extensions, variations and new options needed to run sites longer or repower them with modern turbines.

  • Secure land rights for battery storage, solar PV, substations, cable routes and new access tracks next to existing sites.

  • Identify land constraints and opportunities early, and give clear advice that informs which projects we take forward.

Stakeholders and delivery

  • Work with solicitors to agree heads of terms and see agreements through to completion, on time and within budget.

  • Build good working relationships with local authorities, ESB Networks, EirGrid, neighbours and community groups.

  • Support community engagement and community benefit fund arrangements alongside the wider team.

  • Manage external land agents, valuers and surveyors, and control land-related costs.

  • Build the processes, templates and systems our land function needs as the platform grows.

What you bring: Essential

  • Experience in land, property, rural estates, utilities, infrastructure or renewable energy, ideally in Ireland.

  • A track record of negotiating leases, options, acquisitions, easements or wayleaves, and seeing them through to completion.

  • A sound understanding of Irish land law and property rights, including title, folios and the Land Registry (Tailte Éireann), and landlord and tenant legislation.

  • Strong relationship skills and the judgement to handle sensitive conversations with landowners and communities.

  • An organised, proactive approach. You can manage many agreements at once, spot risks early and solve problems independently or as part of a team.

  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel to rural sites.

What you bring: Desirable

  • Experience on operational wind farms, or on repowering, battery storage or solar projects.

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification, such as membership of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) or RICS.

  • Knowledge of the Irish planning and grid connection process.

  • Experience using GIS or land management software.

Why join us

  • Real influence in a growing business, with the chance to shape its land function from the start.

  • Work on projects that get more clean power from existing sites and grid connections.

  • A small, hands-on team backed by experienced energy investors.

  • Competitive salary and benefits.
