About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the CFO and Leadership Team, reporting to stakeholders on the ongoing operation of the business including monthly financial reporting, investment decisions, acquisitions, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities
Maintain, develop and deliver robust and transparent financial models for investment appraisal, acquisition analysis, forecasting, and lender reporting
Consolidate financial and operational reports for senior stakeholders including leadership team, lenders and shareholders
Support in acquisition due diligence processes, analysis and legal documentation
Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient deal execution
Manage budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling
Deliver insights that inform strategic decisions and risk/opportunity assessments
Support the CFO in implementation of the company ESG strategy
The Candidate
Proven expertise in financial modelling, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint
Qualified Accountant / Part Qualified Accountant with relevant experience or working towards CFA
Evidence of energy finance experience with strong commercial focus; familiarity with Project Agreements and Loan Facility Agreements an advantage
Analytical thinker with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
Strong communication skills, with experience in preparing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating strong analytical skills
Strong academic background in a numerate discipline
